I cant believe they mention the Mississippi rivalry in the same breath as the other rivalries. Two bottom dwellers of the SEC. Neither has won a conference title since before desegregation

The iron bowl is the greatest. It has been for a long time. People can argue Mich-Ohio state, duke-unc all day and they are good but The iron bowl is the most electric environment I've ever seen....in any sport at any level. The bama-lsu game is more or less a one sided one and the cbs primetime thing was always a head scratcher to us Bama fans. Some years, yea, the rankings warranted it but some years it was like, why is this game in primetime. As far as the iron bowl goes, last night people were already debating the iron bowl outcome for this year. It's here 365 days a year.

The Iron Bowl easily is the top rivalry.

Michigan/Ohio St includes two higher population states, so it gets hyped, but no serious fan would ever say anything other than the Iron Bowl.
