This is what my dad would always say when he sees new QB contracts like Joe Flacco who did nothing after his big one. He is in surgical equipment sales and his income is 100% commission. He sells nothing, he gets $0. He would get angry that these guys aren't getting paid off performance but potential.

It all comes down to the popularity of the league and they money that goes into it and players are the product. If you start to pay "commission" or pay by their stats at end of year or after every week, other teams will come in and say "hey, we'll pay you before handsomely so you don't have to be scared if you do poor or are injured." The players are the product. They hold the power. If they held less power, teams would feel comfortable in pay for play type of contracts based on stats. Another team will just swoop in to steal a guy if an NFL team does try this method of pay for stats. Unless the rewards are outrageous for the stats.

I agree with him. IDGFA if it’s because it’s not helping him he’s right. I wonder if they can keep players from getting NIL until they complete a full season?

I agree with most of what he's saying, although I can't help but wonder how outspoken he would be about collectives if he had a large one benefiting him. I hope he's being sincere as a vocal personality like him MIGHT be able to help get it under control before it's too late.

The media makes him vocal. Lots of vocals out there but, for some reason, the media picks this one.

Sounds like Colorado can't get no bags. Less than 2% go pro, if they can't get the bag, get the coin purse. He's a clown acting like he knows what the problem is. The NCAA is the problem.

Does it really matter what happens there in Year 1? They aren't going to be very good. And you're going to laugh to yourself and call him a Tool?

Wait until Year 3 and if they still suck then you can gloat.
