When 5-star forward Carlton Bragg announced which school he'd be taking his talents to on Thursday, he stood up, put on a Kansas hat, and said that he'd be attending...Kentucky. Wait, what? Sorry Wildcat fans, he meant Kansas...

"I think you mean some grown men have turned these kid's announcements into circus sideshows" That's probably a part of it as well.

Im a fan of the Carl Lawson Olde School method. Commit to the coaches, let them announce it when they get your fax, then go.

"I'm sick of the pre madonna camera is in front of me crap. Who the fock cares??"

For what it's worth, it looks like this announcement was at his high school in front of a local feed, not a national spotlight, at a time when a bunch of other student-athletes were also making their decisions on where to go to college. It was an event put on by the high school to honor these kids, not an event put on by these kids to blow their own horn.

You don't need a presser to announce where you're going.

He definitely did that on purpose. Check out the looks on the kid's faces behind him. They knew it was coming

Well, something like this was going to happen to someone. Some of these kids make their announcements into circus sideshows. I'm not saying this young man did, but still.
