Scottie Pippen Told Michael Jordan He 'Wasn't Too Pleased' With 'Last Dance' Doc
© Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports
We heard rumblings last spring of Scottie Pippen not liking how he was portrayed in the awesome Chicago Bulls doc "The Last Dance," but apparently he went strait to his Airness and told him he wasn't happy with it...
quote:

How accurate was the The Last Dance in showing what went on?

I don’t think it was that accurate in terms of really defining what was accomplished in one of the greatest eras of basketball, but also by two of the greatest players – and one could even put that aside and say the greatest team of all time. I didn’t think those things stood out in the documentary. I thought it was more about Michael trying to uplift himself and to be glorified [the series was co-produced by Jordan’s Jump 23 company]. I think it also backfired to some degree in that people got a chance to see what kind of personality Michael had.

Have you spoken to him about your opinion of series?
Yeah. I told him I wasn’t too pleased with it. He accepted it. He said, “hey, you’re right”. That was pretty much it

all u guys raggin' on Scotty just shows ur ignorance regarding b-ball knowledge. MJ is MJ because of Scotty. Night in and night out Scotty was assigned to guard the opposing teams leading scorer which he often held them in check especially when it counted in the playoffs. Scotty did it all, rebounds, blocks, assists, u name it. And a very physical player. Before y'all continue to bust on him, go watch several of their games. Better yet a full playoff series.

I don’t know who wants to break it to Scotty but no one watched that doc because of him. In fact, he missed the first half of the fricking season while MJ kept them together. He’s such a whiny bitch.

Would anyone even know who Scotty Pippen is without Jordan? I mean, he was a good player, but not a star.

I have to agree. That era was Batman and Robin. Now Robin isn’t happy with being Batman’s sidekick. But the fact is, he was Batman’s sidekick. Deal with it, Scotty. It wasn’t a bad gig, dude. Made you a star for evermore.

agreed....MJ was going to be great regardless. scottie became who he was because of MJ and I think scottie helped that duo become legends......with that said, MJ without scottie is still a great MJ........scottie without MJ is......someone we "heard of" during his nba career.

Of course he wasn't. It highlighted two of this most selfish NBA moments. Contract hold-out and not going into the playoff game against the Knicks because the final play was called for Toni Kukoc.

He hasn’t put up a Danica Patrick post in a couple of months. So I’m letting the misspelling slide. lol
