There have been a couple of former Bulls players speaking out in the media about "The Last Dance" and Michael Jordan's aggressive personality. Teammate Dennis Rodman thinks they're wusses...
quote:

The players were a little upset because they felt Michael was throwing them under the bus. ‘You guys wasn’t [sic] doing what I want you to do, I’m the greatest, I’m determined to win no matter what,’

“Mentally, I don’t think they were strong enough to handle that, because Phil Jackson is a laid-back coach. Michael is more like, ‘I’m going to do it, watch me be famous.’ I didn’t care because I was already famous,”

Rodman said his former teammates do not possess the right amount of mental toughness to withstand the criticism from Jordan or the documentary, which is the very reason why they shouldn’t be mad about it. Rodman also said he wasn’t affected by how he was portrayed in “The Last Dance.”

The same guy who requested a Vegas vacation in the middle of the season wants to talk about being mentally "strong enough"?

I do think Pippen was portrayed a little too negatively. He was a loyal teammate, and was screwed by the Bulls front office. They could have put positives in there, like how Jordan gave him the car he won from getting finals mvp. Still, I don’t think it was Jordan’s fault. He spoke highly of Pippen. It’s not like Jordan produced the film. Horace Grant, frick him.

I gotta tell ya, watching this doc series made me a fan of Rodman.

So to translate what Rodman is saying, some of these former Bulls players aren’t mentally tough enough to handle criticism in a documentary, which ironically is the same reason Jordan relentlessly rode their asses. They weren’t mentally tough enough to win championships without MJ pushing them to the edge.
