Lakers Draft Bronny James In 2024 NBA Draft

Wonder if the NBA players will treat him like the WNBA players treat Caitlyn Clark since it is not about race.

This would make me self-concious if I were Bronny. I would constantly have the thought in the back of my head of everyone thinks I'm not talented enough to be here but for my dad being basically the Lakers GM. Prob a lot of resentment from his USC teammates who started over him and will never see their lifelong dream come true but he will. Lakers teammates wouldn't dare rookie haze him with Lebron there.

If you've ever worked for a family company and weren't family, but you were the owner's son's boss, it creates an awkward dynamic. People don't treat them the same bc fear if you anger the analyst, he tells dad, dad fires you. Of course owner's sons would never acknowledge that they have this privelege but it is very much there. Bronny is the owner's son of a private company.

They either wasted a pick on practice squad roster or they are finally recruiting a mascot.

This is no doubt about keeping LBJ happy, a Laker and hoping it’ll bring in some extra revenue. If you take Bronny’s college stats and put the name Pete random last name in front of it, teams aren’t even inviting him in for a free agent tryout much less drafting him.

If that family had any character, they'd be embarrassed.

Because of LeBron a deserving player who doesn't have multi millionaire parents won't be drafted.
