There is much speculation about Dwight Howard's future, especially him possibly heading to the Lakers. The Orlando Sentinel is doing their job pondering the team and his future. But here is what Howard Tweeted last night...
quote:

“Y does it seem like the writers of Orlando sentinel are tryna push me out of Orlando with dumb articles. It’s annoying. Can I enjoy my summer and get ready for next season in Orlando. Pls. Same thing u guys did to Shaq. Smh”...“I’m not blaming the media. I’m saying stop with the dumb articles. They don’t make be decision of mine. I jus don’t want Orlando fans to believe them. Cuz they don’t know. I love my city.”
By the way "Smh" means "shaking my head." And I think that's how we're all feeling about your Tweets this morning, Superman.

Chris Paul and Dwight Howard are both coming to the Lakers in a three-way trade where the Lakers are giving up Fisher and Blake.

That makes complete sense.. Trade fish who is 37 and Blake who is 31 for 2 of the best players at there position. I see that happening

he was obviously joking.....

but everyone on here, in the media, etc who keep saying Dwight is going to L.A. are being completely serious.

Fact is, the Lakers cannot sign Dwight Howard. Only way L.A. gets Dwight is if the Magic trade him there, and I highly doubt that happens. The LakeShow have had all the best centers in the league (the two greatest ever: kareem and shaq), and I highly doubt the Magic want to gift the Lakers another couple championships by giving them the leagues best big man currently. I think the front office would rather let him walk somewhere else after next year before giving him to the Lakers.

How is he going to go to the Lakers? Do they have enough money to sign him? Wouldn't they have to do a sign and trade or something like that?

because he acknowledged it and by comparing himself to shaq it seems like he's setting it up to scapegoat the media when he leaves.

Precisely what the media wants you to think. Vicious cycle.

maybe. He might actually like Orland though. I honestly have no idea if he does or not, but maybe he actually wants to stay and build a team. Then again, he may just be feeding everyone and he's counting down the days until he leaves for LA.

He does love Orlando, and wants to stay ....but if he feels like the pieces aren't there and the team isn't capable of winning a championship, he's going to go somewhere with better teammates.

Why are we "shaking our heads" at his tweets? I think he brings up good points.
