LSU gained a big time commitment on Wednesday night from Stanford graduate transfer cornerback Terrence Alexander.

The 5-10 cornerback from New Orleans, LA (John Curtis HS) visited LSU last week and will add much-needed depth to the Tigers secondary.

Alexander signed with Stanford in 2014 choosing the Cardinals over offers from Ole Miss, Notre Dame, and others but was never offered by LSU.

He missed most of his senior season in 2017 because of an injury and has already been granted an additional year of eligibility.

Hail yes. A little relieved even adding just one more guy back there. I assume he is fairly smart being offered by Stanford and ND should pick up the system nicely.

Well, he desperately needed someone after getting played on the recruiting trail - yet again. Glad he found someone.

Senior year - 2 tackles, 1 pass breakup (in one game) Missed the rest of the season to injury. Junior year - 12 tackles, 1 pass breakup (in 13 games) ???? What's all the hoopla about???

He's a cornerback... For reference, Patrick Peterson had 34 tackles last year in 16 games and he is considered one of the best in the NFL.

Following this logic, we should start looking at the front 7's Pass Breakups/INT's...

I know this is being picky, but I have to point out Stanford is not the Cardinals, they are just the Cardinal.

Correct. They are just ONE tree. They are not a forest.
