LSU's Tiger Stadium emptied out during the fourth quarter of the LSU-Syracuse game last Saturday as the Tigers held off the Orange to win 35-26.

On Wednesday during the SEC Coaches Teleconference, head coach Ed Orgeron was asked about the fan support and how he felt about the stadium attendance for the game.
quote:

"First of all, I love our fanbase, Orgeron said. "I think they are fantastic. I know they are going support us."

"Obviously, we would like to see them throughout the whole game but I know the big SEC games... there will be 102,000 strong there. I love our fans support and I think it's going to get better the more games we win."

The big purple take your money machine might want to start cutting back on surcharges, parking rapes and terrible PR and customer service Going back to Lacumba where the tickets are cheap and the butts are wide

I have been a season ticket holder of tickets in section 301 row 22 for 15 years. I gave them up this year. Mainly because of what I see every year. Coaches that always say it's my fault. My bad we have to get better. Same thing every year. Fans that pay serious money to this program want people to be accountable. I'm sure if they were they wouldn't be so quick to say my bad we have to get better. Truly I'm a big fan and I'm sure with all the changes we have had this year screwed up our recruiting I'm just tired of all the next years.

In the 4th, did you all notice that they stopped the majority of the piped in sound? I think if people stayed and experienced that there are actually openings to yell and cheer, they may stay.

I have never seen a more negative bunch of people in my life. We have lost one game and the whole damn fanbase is bitching and whining and making up bull shite about why we are not going to be in the stadium for the rest of the season. Well just maybe, we actually will be in the stadium...I will....

"I think it's going to get better the more games we win." May be a slight problem with his strategy....

Yeah cause all I wanna do is party all day then leave shortly after the game starts lol

Who cares? Last I checked, this is still America. Paying fans are free to leave when they wish. After tailgating all day and running a big crew, that's a lot of work involved. Sometimes you just want to head back to your tents, sit in a comfortable chair, grab a cold one, and listen to the crowd cheer without being squeezed into a crowded stadium. If you payed your money, this doesn't make you less of a fan. Non issue!

Sounds like you need to be tested for low T.

Then don’t have tickets to begin with. There’s a whole waiting list of people who would love to have your tickets and would go to every game without complaining.

I'd like to see a year-to-year attendance chart from 2011 until last weekend. If you're not winning, you're not going to get people to stick around. We're just a fickle bunch

See them throughout hopefully will come to an end for him unless he is watching from the stands.

If Tiger fans dont think it will get better it wont. A lot of yall are creating a negative vibe that will only grow if you dont support this team and this coach. It will get worse before it gets better due to the recruiting the past 4 years but if the fans would just rally behind what O is trying to build, we will be able to take pride in what LSU did with Louisiana homegrown talent. Your thoughts create your world. Negative thoughts towards the program bring bad results and positive thoughts will bring positive results. Give O a chance people to REBUILD this program. Spears was right.

Rebuild? Really? The team should have won 10-11 games last season. Hardly a rebuild. At least 1 loss was on him. The only decent defense outside of Bama that he coached against.

If another SEC team had hired Coach O...you would have been scared or jealous? The man is a joke ...the hire is a joke...it's one big horrific joke...to everyone except coonasses

Syracuse coach was driving a honda civic and almost beat LSU coach who was driving a Ferrari. What if LSU gave gritty coaches like that a chance instead of washed-up recycled "good ole boys"?

What Ferrari? You living in 2005 bro. That Ferrari needs a total rebuild. Miles crashed that Ferrari way back in 2012.
