Reports out of Bastrop this afternoon have Rueben Randle's family concerned about receiver depth at LSU if DeAngelo Benton signs with the Tigers. Benton announced today that he would be signing with LSU tomorrow. Glenn Guilbeau posted this today at thenewsstar.com:
Tomorrow will certainly be an interesting day. Both Benton and Randle are scheduled to announce their intentions at 12:30pm from Bastrop High School. Visit our Recruiting Board to read more about the situation.

Former Bastrop High star receiver DeAngelo Benton told Gannett Louisiana Tuesday afternoon that he has committed to LSU coach Les Miles and will sign scholarship papers to go to LSU on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Emmett Randle, the father of the nation's No. 1 wide receiver out of Bastrop High this year, told a Monroe radio station on Tuesday afternoon that he is concerned with the number of talented receivers at LSU for his son Rueben Randle to contend with, including Benton.
Benton, who was the No. 7 receiver in the nation after his senior year at Bastrop in 2006, signed with LSU in 2007 but failed to get academically eligible. After playing the 2007 season at Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Va., Benton signed again with LSU in February of 2008 but was unable to get eligible.
Tomorrow will certainly be an interesting day. Both Benton and Randle are scheduled to announce their intentions at 12:30pm from Bastrop High School. Visit our Recruiting Board to read more about the situation.
