Feel bad he even has to address it.

If you want to burn a bridge with a former team, teammates or fans -- this is the way to do it.

Daniels is being a selfish child on this one.

Let’s think about this for a second: if Brian Kelly made Jayden Daniels a promise that he wouldn’t issue his jersey number after the 2023 season, then why would he turn around the very next year and promise someone else No. 5?

Good for you Jayden. If LSU is not giving out numbers 9 & 20 then they should not give out 5.

I think the best thing he could have said was "If it means that much to Jayden, then give me another number. "
