It’s obvious where ESPN stands on this. All of their tag lines refer to these college players as “Ex-NFL” players. Not a single one ever played a single down of football in the NFL. One of them never took a mini-camp snap. If you’re going to argue in good faith, at least get the facts right.

I've seen more ESPN begin to question their own stance, like above, and seem to see it more as gray area and not black and white.

thats pretty much bullseye - but i am worried about the long term damage to the LSU brand and the pettiness of the ncaa and sankey. is all of this really gonna be worth it

I truly have my concerns as well. They will do the same thing like the NFL did to The Saints.

The LSU brand just became the school that fights for its players and potential players.

Who wouldn't want to come play for such an institution in the face of a corrupt system?
