So...this is what took so long for him to be elected. Inconceivably, Robinson, one of the premier defensive backs in the history of Professional Football, was not selected to the Hall of Fame until his 43rd year of eligibility, even though he outshone others at that position with lesser credentials who had long before been selected. This injustice is attributed to the decades-long bias of NFL-oriented selectors against players from the American Football League.

I just don't see how having him on staff at LSU would be a bad thing. He is LSU, and he belongs there.

Apologies rob62, only a Bama fan could do something that shameful. I now see where you made the typo and you are a Tiger.

Im going to go out on a limb and say most people on a website about LSU sports, care about 2 former LSU players making the Hall of Fame.

Robinson has been doing great things in Monroe since his retirement and you never hear about it.

If Billy Cannon would not have been in the same backfield, would he have a shot at the Heisman? Truly a great Tiger!

Long overdue for Johnny Robinson. I had heard that he had some health problems, but he looked pretty good there.
