We are still able to move the ball up and down the field on talent alone. It is clear their is oversimplification of the offense, which makes it predictable. There is very little motion, crossing, play mixing and misdirection of the offensive skilled players, who can make plays in space. Linemen have three options. Run block left. Run block right. Form a wall and pass block. If each 300 lb lineman suck it up and win more than 50% of his individual battles, we win every game, including Alabama. One must believe to achieve!

Besides ULM, not seeing any easy games to get three more wins. 7-5 might be the ceiling but who knows. Shame to get the loss last nite

When an OLine technique and conditioning is optimal, their play is optimal. Max Johnson is a much better than average QB that has performed under a lot of defensive pressure from the Opponents. Let’s not throw the baby out with the bath water.

I’ve been an advocate for him but he’s really slow at making progressions and has really poor foot work. His arm is pretty weak. Having said all that, I’d don’t think he’s getting proper coaching to help him with the fundamentals.

He has been under serious pressure. Was expecting better play from O line this year. Guess losing big guy to Cats really hurt
