Did his team transfer with him to LSU? If not, then the question was about HIM, hence the I and me responses. I’m not sure what else you want from him. I thought that he interviewed well.

He's better spoken than I was at that age. I'm looking forward to seeing him play.

I wasnt blasting the kid, just a casual observation that i wasnt impressed in the way he answered. For example the first question was basically "Could you just walk us through those conversations with Coach Kelly and your decision to come here?" His answer was basically "it was the best decision for me and my future career" in a day where NIL $ and focusing more on one's personal draft stock are running rampant. IMHO, something like "it was a great opportunity to come and learn from and play for one of the best coaches in the game, at one the the top programs in the country, and play with the best players in the best conference. I was excited for the challenge to see how I could help change the culture and get this team back to the LSU standard of excellence and the winning tradition these fans deserve" would have been a much better answer. You can always being it back to the team. I like most of what I have seen from him so far, this just interview just didn't do it for me, coming from someone who is competing for the starting qb spot at one of the top programs in the country.

sounds like a lot of "me" and "I" and "my" in there...way more than I would want to hear.
