How cool of a story is this. Kid probably had no offers out of high school and just wanted to keep playing football. Gets a great education and 4 years of college football at Assumption College. Then, to cap it all off, he becomes one of the most reliable kickers in school history 6 games in at one of the most historic program in college football. What an awesome 5 years for this kid.

Kid is going to get a look in the NFL and if that doesn't work out, I think he has a future as a special teams coach. Good instincts, great kicker so far.

Can Cole Tracy wear #7 for Bama game? K. Thanks.

If his season continues in the same trajectory, NFL scouts should have him at the top of their lists for kickers. Hope he makes it there, as that is a coveted position that he can play well into his thirties, if not longer.

He will need a stronger leg to be a mainstay, imo. Most NFL kickers have nearly 60 yard range. He’s certainly good enough to be one of those guys that gets picked up in a pinch every now and then.

I’ve been ripped for this on the rant but I agree that his range is not NFL caliber at this point.

I remember watching the Saints superbowl in '09. On Morstead's approach coming into the onside, as a kicker I could tell it weren't right. The rest is history. Same here. Legit cool story, Cole.

Yeah it was terribly executed.

Nah. It was well defended.

It was both. The flick over the head was more of a lob which didn’t allow the kicker to accelerate as he got the ball. He was dead after that.
