Outside of a couple of big plays, it seemed like our linebackers and scheme were responsible for the yardage. When we were beat, it was usually good coverage and a damn fine throw. It happens. While not up to par, I didn't think our db play was as terrible as some posters are crying about.

I think we should only count the plays that were against the starters

It's about how many you put in the NFL, not if you get burned or not.

umm ok, silly me i thought db U was referring to a University not the nfl, imagine. Doesn't change the fact that 3 of the last 4 games our pass defense is giving up too many yards and TDs.

DBU is getting out of hand, elite DB's don't get lit up like both teams got lit up last night. I know Stingley did his job, 1,3,4,& 5 not so much. The PI's were killers on 3rd and long. Hey but Victory is the name of the game. Geaux Tigers

Even great DBs get burnt or miss things. Duh... It’s one game and they did their job against a great team.

Considering that they were playing our man zones perfect and burning our lbs in coverage instead of our corners shows that we still are dbu, they just have a hell of an offense

When you let the other team score 31 points in a half, scoring on every possession, you might want to chill with the DBU stuff. How about for now we just focus on being “LSU” and work on being a complete team. Great win last night.

Pay closer attention! Stingley had his WR neutralized the entire game! They didn't even throw his way in the second half!

Yeah but Mouche337, Fulton kept playing "trail technique" behind his WR...and when he couldn't catch up he had to DPI the guy to keep him from catching the ball. Granted the DPI in the endzone was a good foul because he was beat. The Safeties were physically depleted by dehydration and cramps. Our DBU looks like it needs remedial classes right now.
