Three LSU players were named to the Sports Illustrated College Football All-America, which was released on Wednesday.

Junior linebacker Devin White and sophomore safety Grant Delpit were named to the first-team, and placekicker Cole Tracy was named to the second-team.
quote:

LB: Devin White, LSU:
Allen may have taken home the Nagurski, but White beat him out for the Dick Butkus Award, given to the top linebacker in college football. (He's LSU's first recipient of a national award since Odell Beckham Jr. took home the Paul Hornung Award in 2013. White finished second in the SEC with 115 total tackles and became the seventh Tiger with back-to-back 100-tackle seasons.

S: Grant Delpit, LSU:
Any one of LSU's starting defensive backs would be right at home on this team, but Delpit found himself around the ball constantly in his sophomore season, pacing the Tigers with 5.0 sacks, five interceptions and 14 passes defended.

SECOND-TEAM SPECIALISTS:
K Cole Tracy, LSU; P Will Hart, Michigan; All-Purpose Darrell Henderson, Memphis; Returner Mecole Hardman, Georgia.

Greedy not even being on second team discredits SI's choices. Sorry, but Greedy is easily better than the 2 guys that made second team and it's not close.

When I saw the subject, I came here to complain about Delpit being left out. Then, I saw no Greedy, and I have no words. Just ridiculous.

Greedy did not have a flashy year this year. Does not change the fact that he is easily the best NFL corner in this years draft. But teams learned to not throw his way. He is a lock down corner, you do not always get to hear his name when he is doing his job.

Expected top 10 pick, but not on the list? ESPN hates Greedy.

Or they value team players that don't ditch on the bowl game for the draft

From the description they had for Delpit, it looks like they were trying to give Greedy props. SI isn't gonna fill 3 of the 11 first-team spots with players from the same team....unless they play for Alabama of course.
