It was not the first time that Curry's name was mentioned on Monday as head coach Ed Orgeron listed him as one of the standouts in the freshman class.

The only thing i worry about with Chris Curry is him trying to "live up" to the Marshawn Lynch comparison and in doing so he attempts to run too hard, almost out of control and as a result he starts to have a few turnovers.

He reminded me more of Marion Barber when I saw him but, I get it.

Hopefully this guy brings some vocal leadership to this group of players. Brossette needs to toughen up. If he would bring some physicality to his running style then he would make a great back. This dude will bring the pain. He's great blocking and out of the backfield as well.

If you can honestly mention this kid in the same breath as Marshawn Lynch his ceiling must be sky high.

Curry is going to be a nightmare for defenses. That hard hitting, body dragging, power running style will wear them out. Guys like Helaire and Provens will then take runs to the house.

From a pure football perspective, he should have been rated higher. We actually got a steal with this kid.

Been a while since we had an edge. They say thug, I hear edge if it's controlled. This team needs more mean streak from top to bottom to beat the best teams.
