what if he identified as eligible?

He would have been done better if he was caught with weed and a gun in his car and dealing with a district attorney in North Louisiana than having to deal with the NCAA.

If his jersey said Alabama, this would’ve been a non issue.

Emery probably took enough credits of school classes last semester but because of personal problems and not doing well in some classes he dropped classes he was getting Fs in. He finished the semester with a shortage of credits and could not take enough in the summer. You are allowed a specific number of credits you can take and it was just not enough.

This makes no sense. Athletes get priority with scheduling of classes. Anyone else remember using Reggie to schedule the classes or having to call.

What exactly did he do? Im an Auburn fan but other athletes at various schools got waivers etc. NCAA ruling is so arbitrary.

You are offered every opportunity under heaven to pass, get tutored, make up work, etc… how the hell do you fail a class these days?

Sucks. You have to try very very very hard to not remain eligible at LSU, not even factoring in the perks of athletic life.
