Every time I see this comment I realize more and more this SEC bubble most of yall live in is thicker than 5 layers of steel. UGA at 1 and Michigan at 2 makes the most sense of anything on here, and that's not saying the rest of the rankings are bad.

It's not an SEC bubble. For 80 years, USC and Note Dame didn't have to win the title on the field, and could rely on media bias to win beauty polls. As soon as it became a real championship won on the field, the SEC has dominated.

Michigan lost 1 game last year (in the CFP), beat the dog shite outta OSU & returns pretty much their whole team, a lot like LSU. Anyone that thinks Michigan wont be a CFP contender is whats really comical.

That's a fair assessment at this point. But let's hope it all works out like we think it could and we'll be celebrating the Tigers 5th College Football National Championship!
