LSU's Terrace Marshall Jr. and Jabril Cox both had rave reviews for new five-star tight end Arik Gilbert during Thursday's virtual media session.

Marshall Jr. called the freshman a "freak of nature" and described his 6-5, 250-pound frame as "eye candy" on the football field.

Cox, who has covered Gilbert at slot during practice, said he has the opportunity to be "the best tight end to ever play college football," and even compared him to former NFL great Calvin "Megatron" Johnson.

Let the kid show it on the field. All this hype is going to put too much pressure on.

BS, If he's the real deal then he lives for that pressure. If he's not built for it then he'll fold like a cheap suitcase. Up to him nothing to do with his hype.
