Multiple sources are reporting that LSU backup quarterback Peter Parrish has entered his name into the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Parrish, a redshirt freshman from Phenix City, Alabama was suspended from the team in March due to a violation of team rules and did not participate in any offseason workouts or the shortened spring practice.

The former four-star dual-threat prospect served as LSU's third-stringer behind Joe Burrow and Myles Brennan last season.

He’ll most likely wind up and Alabama State or A&m He has the skills to be a strong starter at that level. Never was going to be a full time sec starter but could have been a capable backup in garbage time

Seems like this guy will move closer to Gumpville and transfer to Troy or maybe Jax State. North Alagumpville might give him a look too!

Like Myles, he also learned under Burrow. If I was a coach needing a QB, he'd definitely be a risk I may take.

How so? He was a 4 star player who not only won a class 7 state championship, he beat the team with Taulia Tagovailoa at QB. He is big, strong, and quick.

6’1” and 190 pounds is “big and strong” for a QB?
