Multiple sources are reporting that redshirt freshman defensive tackle Trey Lealaimatafao was arrested for simple battery and simple robbery, a felony, on Thursday for his involvement in a fight outside a Baton Rouge bar. Per The Advocate:
quote:

Lealaimatafao, a redshirt freshman from Texas, beat an unnamed male victim unconscious and then punched the victim’s girlfriend in the face with a closed fist in the parking lot of Reggie’s bar on Tuesday, police records show.

Lealaimatafao's dug through the male victim’s pockets after the alleged beating. Three eye witnesses told police that the football player fled the scene when authorities arrived. All three witnesses gave police similar accounts of the incident and identified Lealaimatafao out of a photo lineup.
According to team spokesman Michael Bonnette, LSU is aware of what happened and Lealaimatafao has been indefinitely suspended from the team.

This is Lealaimatafao second arrest and third off the field incident since arriving at LSU.

He remains in jail on $15,000 bond.

Trey LFAO - what a disaster - Texas dodged a bullet when he switched to LSU. He wouldn't be able to survive Charlie Strong anyway, so, he's Les' problem.

Ok...very simple to solve all this crap. Barney Fife would answer, NIP IT..NIP IT in the BUD!! End this misery for good players and fans alike. Cross the line of stupidity and commit such acts, and you are history at LSU. Quit dancing around these issues or it will only get worse.. Just wave bye to such idiots.

I agree LSU should find a way too keep our players out of Tigerland. He's done. Probably the other 3 will be off the team. Already lost Robinson. Valentine can't get on the field. Now we need someone to step up.

So what's that year's recruitment ranking now? Seems like we retroactively lose recruitment ranking points every year.

Don't be too quick to think he's gone. Father Flanagan, uh, Miles, will keep him around if he thinks he can contribute on the field even the tiniest bit. What's he suspended from right now? Conditioning work? Big punishment.

They'll never get rid of him; the athletic department has already spent way too much money on all the letters on his jersey. Just gonna have to make do I guess.

You totally changed the quote from the Advocate ... they say he "dug through the pockets of an unnamed male victim after the victim had been beaten unconscious by 'uknown suspects.'"

You quoted he "beat an unnamed male victim unconscious and then punched the victim’s girlfriend in the face with a closed fist."
