Multiple sources are reporting that LSU linebacker Kendell Beckwith suffered a knee injury during a live contact play in practice on Thursday. Per NOLA.com:

Kendell Beckwith went down late in Thursday's session with what several sources said appeared to be a knee injury.

The Tigers were still awaiting word Friday morning on the severity, although sources said the injury did not appear minor.
Ross Dellenger with The Advocate has reported that Beckwith had to be helped on the field but that the injury could be minor.

Injuries are a part of the game for any team. Hate that it happened to our best defensive player and the core of that unit, but next man up. On a personal side, couldn't feel any worse for the guy. Comes back for his senior season passing up millions and has this happen. Nightmare situation for what seems to be a great kid.
