Former LSU defensive back Morris Claiborne has signed a 1-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs worth up to $1.5 million, according to multiple sources.

Claiborne has been suspended for the first four weeks of the 2019 season for violating the league's substance-abuse policy and will be eligible to play in Week 5.

Claiborne, a former No. 6 overall pick, will reunite with former LSU teammate Tyrann Mathieu in the Chiefs secondary.

Dude can still ball. I'm hoping Mathieu makes things easier for him.

Yup. He’s solid when healthy. Gives me another reason to watch chiefs games this year.
