New Mississippi State head coach Mike Leach addressed the media Monday to preview the season opener vs. LSU and said that expects quarterback K.J. Costello to start on Saturday.

Costello, a talented graduate transfer from Stanford, had his junior season in 2019 derailed due to injuries but passed for 3,540 yards and 29 touchdowns in 2018.

K.J. Costello drives 10 miles under the speed limit in the left lane, alone in the car with a mask on.

He should throw at Stingley all day, and prove that the Stingley legend is just a myth. In other news, Stingley gets 3 pick 6's.
