That looked weird to me too. The division order is a regular ranking of the 7 teams with weighted points. But the SEC Champion list is just one vote each for the overall winner. USCe, Vandy, and Arkansas each had one vote. I don't think that champion list works very well as the consensus for the "overall" finish.

I'm so tired of the Auburn love. They're like USC. Every year they get hyped and do squat. Last year they beat us by a tenth of a second because of horrendous coaching, this year they're breaking in a new QB. We will throttle Auburn this year. Will we finish first? Don't know, but we're better than third in the west.

Seems pretty understandable. I believe LSU is better than UGA, but they do play in the Easy East.
