According to a Baton Rouge Police Department spokesman, former LSU offensive lineman La'el Collins' will speak to police after this week's NFL Draft concerning a murder the murder of a former girlfriend. Per NOLA.com:
quote:

Cpl. Don Coppola Jr. said no particulars of the meeting have have been established but that Collins will be questioned by police investigators regarding the shooting death of Brittany Mills, 29, on April 24. Collins left the NFL Draft proceedings in Chicago to return home Wednesday.
Collins is not a suspect for the murder, according to BRPD, but the lack of information on the case is causing an issue for potential NFL teams that were interested in Collins before this week.

Guy makes an example by coming back for his senior year. Convinces others to stay another year (Vadal in particular). Has never got in trouble or anything about lack of effort on and off the field. Two days before the draft, some bitchmade pussy cop leaks to Adam Schefter that he is NOT a suspect, but is wanted for questioning. Adam, being the bitch that he is, runs this half assed story, dragging his name through the mud.

If Karma is real at all, Adam and the cop should get theirs served back ten fold!

Whoever leaked this shite is an arse with no conscience and probably has an agenda against the guy. Unless he was clearly a suspect why even mention that he was wanted for questioning. Just call his agent and or him and straighten it out without bringing a whole bunch of attn to it.

BRPD need to get their shite together. Letting the media drag this man's name threw the mud without naming him a suspect is fricking pathetic.

Assuming 'El has no involvement in this tragedy, it's a damn shame this whole sideshow is going to cost him millions of dollars. I can't see any team rolling the dice on him in first round now with this remaining unresolved until after the draft. Hate this for him, because he's worked his arse off and deserves to be a first rounder.
