LSU running back Ju'Juan Johnson is now listed as a quarterback on the Tigers roster page for Spring Football.

Johnson, a former four-star athlete from Lafayette, La., was expected to play defensive back for the Tigers but moved to running back for his true freshman season last year.

He played 13 games last season, rushing for 14 yards on seven carries. He also caught five passes for 22 yards and one touchdown.

As a quarterback at Lafayette Christian Academy, Johnson racked up 14,451 total yards and 171 total touchdowns and was named Louisiana’s Mr. Football in 2023.

Johnson joins the quarterback room, which includes Garrett Nussmeier, Colin Hurley, and recent Mississippi State transfer Michael Van Buren Jr.

Hurley was recently involved in a car accident and will need time to recover from his injuries.

Hoping this isn’t just because we need an arm. Need him to settle on a position - any position and make that his.

I would love to hear his take on being moved around. Projected as DB when he came and has barely spent practice time there

They don't need to release a statement that confirms stupidity.
