Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports
LSU had it's first Texas Bowl practice on Monday and head coach Les Miles addressed the media afterwards to provide updates.

Miles suggested that todays focus was on improving as a team, with emphasis on the passing game before they get into the Texas Tech game plan.

Completing more than three passes would be progress at this point.

Hmmm, sounds suspicious to me...I want to know what they have been working on the last two years? A QB with an arm like BH6, but can't throw it thru a 5' X 5' window from 5 yards away, is not an answer to LSU'S passing game...I was actually hoping we could see one of the walk ons play, knowing they can't be any worse than the one we have been watching all year...

"Working on the passing game"......

Outside of 2013 w/Mett, OBJ, and Landry, Miles could've said this every year since 2008.

So in reality we just worked on the running game. Got it.

I expect that they'll come out flinging the ball all over the place. I'm so excited.

I'm pretty sure this is the one game where we can absolutely get away with running the ball down their throats and throwing maybe 10 times.

When I read Les's quotes, why is the voice in my head that of an Asian woman?
