LSU Sports - Gus Stark

Why do people need all of these crutches to get through life?? You don't need drugs, alcohol, etc. to enjoy life! Get Jesus in your life, find a career that you can be successful with, and enjoy your family.

It would be naive to think LSU's weed testing policies are not used in negative recruiting. Right, wrong, or indifferent, most of the kids we recruit smoke weed. It's just the norm these days. It's a legal way of life in a lot of states.

You don’t need to “quit doing weed” like quitting cigarettes or tobacco. Weed ain’t addictive at all and only can give you severe cognitive issues if you a young teenager I’m in my early 20’s so it’s basically ok.

The problem is these kids can't stop smoking pot. It's not a school cares issue... it's a pot habit issue.

I just don’t get it. To be a starting left tackle you have to essentially be the leader on the line in most cases because it’s the most important position. Where are we finding these guys that can’t commit their leadership to this program. This is like 2-3 years in a row the starting Left tackle has off the field issues.

The Center makes all the OL calls, but LT is the most important physical position. (It protects the QB's blind side) They should stick Dellinger at LT as soon as he steps on the practice field and leave him there for 4 years....
