LSU senior offensive tackle K.J. Malone took to Twitter on Wednesday to thank the football program, coaches and fans for his time in Baton Rouge.

Malone, a native of Ruston, LA, was a part of LSU's 2013 recruiting class that included players like Tre'Davious White, Ethan Pocic, Kendell Beckwith and Duke Riley.

He saw action in 24 games during his career at LSU and started at left tackle for all 12 games in 2016.

Malone was LSU's starting left tackle in 2017 before he injured the patellar tendon in his left knee in the first quarter of the win Oct. 7 at Florida. He returned for his final game with LSU in the Citrus Bowl vs. Notre Dame.
