Four-star safety Dashawn McBryde from Denham Springs, La., announced his commitment to LSU on Saturday after the Spring Game.

McBryde, a 6-2, 200-pound prospect from Denham Springs High School, chose the Tigers over offers from Florida, Tennessee, Ole Miss, and many other schools.

LSU now has 12 verbal commitments for the class of 2024 with the addition of McBryde.
