No way this is just bad luck. Some on this team are taking precautions for next year or to preserve their health for the portal just in case.

My biggest hope for this weekend will be that Nick sees firsthand how decimated this program is, says to himself: “I laid the foundation for this program and now it’s crumbling…this must not stand” and comes back to save his legacy.

Maason's hurt or he would be out there. Same with Sage.

As I remember, When Saban arrived in the scene he ran many freeloaders off the team. New coach must do the same.

Maason isn't one of the freeloaders, at all.

I literally laughed out loud when I read the headline. How many are out this week? Twenty? This is why you fire the head coach in the middle of the season.

How are all these players getting hurt during the week at practice? And we hear about him being on crutches since Tuesday but hear about it on Friday? Got it.

I personally don't ever remember an LSU football team getting this ravaged by injuries. What's the deal?

Business decision. Some of these are minor injuries and are not risking a season they have nothing to play for. Not saying Smith is doing that but some definitely are. Selfish after seeing Boutte get his injury.
