So 2 bitch-ass-hoes downvoted me for my take on SP and LA players. Look below. Well, Im listening to this podcast interview of Mike Mauti(grew up in Mandeville, LA) and whats the first question SP asks Mauti when he talks to him about coming down to play for the Saints? Go to 29:10 mark. I rest my case. From the horses mouth. LINK

Of course they interviewed him. Hes not from LA. I still think SPs problem is with local players not necessarily LSU players. I think he worries that the local connections would be a distraction and/or they could get in trouble running with their old homeboys.
He snatched up Tracy Porter though. Look how well that worked out.

Maybe he should get over his fears.

I actually think he would be a great pick where he would be drafted, he's been playing out of position and has grown tremendously as a NG when what he is is a 3 tech which we need, penetrating Data, he could be a late round steal

This dude is an impressive Tiger. Came in highly ranked but did not live up to high expectations. Instead of quitting he worked his arse off, soaked up every bit of knowledge he could from pete jenkins and had a fantastic senior year. I'll be pulling for this dude. I feel like we might see him coaching D Line one day once he's done playing.
