Most recently, Ferguson took part in the JDRF “Walk for the Cure” on the LSU campus. JDRF is the leading global organization funding Type 1 diabetes.

Ferguson serves as the chair of the SEC Football Leadership Council and has traveled to Birmingham and Destin, Florida, to take part in meetings with the leadership of the SEC and league institutions.
Among Ferguson’s other accomplishments in 2018 include being a nominee for the All-State Good Works Team as well as the Wuerffel Trophy.
