Lane Kiffin, Ole Miss coach (+200)
Jon Sumrall, Tulane coach (+250)
Joe Brady, Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator (+400)
James Franklin, ex-Penn State coach (+700)
Eli Drinkwitz, Missouri coach (+800)
Jeff Brohm, Louisville coach (+900)
Jimbo Fisher, ex-Texas A&M coach (+1500)
Brent Key, Georgia Tech coach (+1000)

When I see Jimbo Fisher I say they have no clue.

Jon Sumrall has Alabama ties. Likely to be next coach at Auburn.
Joe Brady has never been a head coach. LSU is not a place to learn.
Marcus Freeman is not coming. Don't ask. His current schedule is weak. Easy path to playoff.
James Franklin would be a good pick, but not much interest there.
Nick Saban, Urban Meyer, Jimbo Fisher? Please. Let's move on.
Drinkwitz and Kiffin. That's your target.

I’m amused when people opine that a very good coach wouldn’t go somewhere because they have an easy schedule / path or route where they are. These particular coaches aren’t successful because they’ve looked for the easy way to success.

Bro, if Sumrall gets an offer he will be in BR so fast he will time travel. I know everyone loves coaching in their home state but that’s not stopping him from taking this job.

Longtime FSU coach Bobby Bowden admitted on national TV back in the late 1980s he would not want to coach in the SEC because it was too hard. He was successful.

Being honest. I didn't know much about Sumrall until a couple of days ago. After a little research and listening to some interviews, I think I'm sold. In regards to Kiffin, you're going to have to pay out the nose for a guy that has never won a major championship in his career. The "bang to hype ratio" on CLK is way out of whack.

McDaniels isn’t going to the playoffs and will be let go. Kiffin to the dolphins after his championship run is shite on by a fellow SEC team.

Personally I believe they should go for somebody who is not currently coaching. Being able to make a hire without waiting until January would be huge to stabilize recruiting and the current roster.
