FootballScoop.com is reporting that LSU has added Chris Kragthorpe & Carter Blount to the coaching staff.

LSU: Chris Kragthorpe has returned to LSU and will serve as an offensive analyst and Carter Blount is joining the staff as well as special teams grad assistant sources tell FootballScoop. Both Kragthorpe and Blount were on staff at Georgia this past season.
Kragthorpe is the son of former offensive coordinator and current chief of staff Steve Kragthorpe. Chris served was an offensive graduate assistant for the Bulldogs last season.

Tell you what...this offensive analyst has his work cut out... I'm guessing it's watching tape of our offense. Poor guy prolly drinks 4 pots of coffee watching that footage to stay awake

@biglego Craig will help with the QBs dude, he has experience being he helped with Jameis Winston. Miles got him to help us incorporate spread elements, don't just post your ignorance

Didn't know we had a chief of staff and that kragthorpe was it... Boggles the mind how are offense was with so many offensive mind's on staff. It just has to get better.

I know there's a coach limit. Yet LSU is finding room for all these ancillary coaches, and a TE coach. All nice to have, but a dedicated QB coach might be more useful. A guy that can focus solely on QBs. Cam and Craig can still help out. But QBs need all the help possible at LSU.

You are only allowed so many coaches on staff. Thats typically why the OC is also the QB coach on most staffs

Walking turtles, I hope you're right about Craig, but he was hired as wide receiver coach. And Cameron is the OC. I'm saying that QB needs its own coach, just like TE has. The QB position is that important and the production has been too abysmal.
