"He's going to care?" Are we now applying liberal policy metrics to receivers? They don't have to produce or be effective. All that matters is that they care.

It is as if Les Miles cannot decide whether he is supposed to make the players feel good or make them play better. He is only getting paid to do one of those things.

"...a good person..."? Miles has totally lost it. Wtf does that have to do with this topic? I swear, I want to support the man but he's a fool.

But if Trey Quinn drops a pass or two.......Got it.

Wait, so you're telling me LSU's passing game is fricked?

The complete dismissal by most of you morons of our most talented receiver just speaks to the sheer idiocy that affects most our fan base.

On exactly what basis do you say that this Butterfingers is our most talented receiver? Do you know what sheer idiocy is? It is confusing potential with performance. Try to learn the difference.

He's n a slump just like most of the rest of the team. He will be fine and so will this team have faith! We need a breakout game this weekend.

Funny how Trey Quinn disappeared and he didn't drop near the number Dupree has!!

Good point.

Dupree is playing like he is worried about getting hurt before making it to the next level... news flash kid, you aint going to the next level with your current lack of productivity and effort.

Newsflash: yes he is and you will still just be posting on TD.

@Flowergirl - you need to take your P&G glasses off if you think hes being NFL caliber productive at the moment.

All players are frustrated with Les and Cam "crock" of lies like the rest of us. They were also told that the offense would"open" up. These kids are demoralized 2 games in. Les and Cam should be fired immediately!

Well, the receivers could help the coaching staff (and Quarterbacks) "open up the offense" by catching some of the balls that are thrown their way. Makes no sense to keep passing the ball if the passes are going to be dropped.

If we had 4 and 5 WRs on each play sure let him stay out there and work it out. But he's 1 of 2 and most targeted. Time to find some bench until you can catch

Dupre should be able to go up and make catches over smaller receivers and I haven't seen him do it yet this season. The guy has NFL talent but he's just not showing much effort or determination on the field in my opinion. Not good considering we begin conference play this week...maybe it's time to give some other guys more opportunities and 1st team reps...just saying

smaller defenders***

Dupre might need to stay for his senior year if he doesn't get this corrected. The NFL will take you even if you have some drop problems (Kelvin Benjamin), but if you can't really catch anything now, how do you expect them to go after you? And now you are getting the soft stigma, and yes I've been saying it for longer than this year. He needs to learn how to get physical.

Past time to bench him. It's BS that he plays over other players when he keeps dropping passes and gives little effort when the ball is in the air.

Why do people like Cam keep getting opportunities in life when they are clearly incompetent? Cam brain is about 90 years old. It doesnt and can't react well.
user avatar

I missed the part where Cam was causing the drops. Elaborate?

I remember odell had a few drops his somph year. But dupre is our go to reciever

Please don't compare the two. It's a silly comparison.

A few drops in a season is tolerable. A few drops in one game and a dozen or so last season is completely unacceptable.

Let's talk about Les's recent struggles as a head coach. *shrugs*

He might need the Dwayne Bowe treatment. As much as Chi likes to rock those hispter/Malcolm X thick rimmed specs, he might need some Lasik.

He needs to hit the weight room, he's soft.

He's going to care???? Really! When?? After graduation, he's had over 2 years...next up please! Somebody on our team can catch a football so let's give them an opportunity.

agreed. It's not like he's a young freshman (freshmen can still produce, by the way). He's a damn junior. Way, way past time for him to be productive. To be honest, he really hasn't done much at all since he's been here - at least not enough to justify the hype.

Too soft.
