Is it physically impossible for him to give a straight answer to a question without giving his dumb spill every time?

When the going gets tough...well then the tough get going...but then again if your going to be dumb you better be tough...I personally think CLM can motivate this team to win out...moments like this is what makes sports fun and a coach great...now if he would just add some more tightend play and quick slants into the offensive mix I would be a happy camper.

"expect to return to a level of mediocrity"

We are currently 8-6 in the SEC in the last two seasons, 13-9 in the last three season and 19-11 in the last four season. Please explain to me how that is not mediocre already. When you make $4M a year, you do not get the luxury of saying, look how good I was 5 years ago.

Who the hell doesn't have a sincere want to win??? His answers always suck. Just a bunch of political mumbo jumbo that doesn't define anything.

vuvuzela, I don't care if the program falls further from grace. I want a new coach. No coach lasts forever, even the good ones. We need new blood and new vigor in the locker room. Les has lost it.

If Les and the team will enter the Ole Miss game with the bravery, courage, determination and Faith of one 14 year old cancer patient who loved LSU,namely Sid Ortis, LSU will win the game and turn this season around.

DO iT FOR SID DAMIT.

The double speak bullshite is so old. He He thinks he's some kind of frickin' wise sage? Lets baby step this thing and hope for double digit pass completions against col reb. That would be progress!

I think Les Miles is a great recruiter and a players' coach. He just has not hired the right assistant coaches to win consistently, especially facing tier1 teams like Bama.

HOWEVER:

Les asked about additional pressure: "I've kind of always played the same style of football."

WTF? That is exactly problem Les! Please adjust your game plan to the team on the other side of football. With a stellar RB like Fournette who could blame you for pounding the run game but when you see the other team is stacking 8 and 9 in the box, take advantage of that by using play action pass and screens. Do that early in the game and not at the point when LSU is in a scoreboard deficit when you have to pass and become predictable.

If Pavlov's dog can associate stimulus to result, I am sure most humans can learn and *gasp* even adapt. Plainly put, stop being stubborn and adapt your game plan to the team game plan on the other side of the football.
