Nick Saban joined The Pat McAfee Show on Thursday and talked about the expectations for Lane Kiffin at LSU.

Saban explained how elite coaches would rather be in a place that has extremely high expectations and believes that 'there's more potential for success at LSU than any place Kiffin has ever been.'

Is Nick including Bama in that statement?

Kiffin wasn’t the coach at Bama. Remember, he was fired 5 days before the national title. If you want proof of nicks love for Bama check out the instagram photos of Nick and his grandson throwing the football in Bryant Denny. If LSU was a greater job than bama they wouldn’t be behind in the series by 30 plus games. Hell, auburn and Tennessee are way closer than that.

Yes of course. LSU has more potential than gumpville and I'll bet the present coach there would want to be at LSU more than with the bumps.

In the 21st century, Saban built up LSU football (including a 4-1 record against Bama) and left it in a state where 2/3 coaches that followed also won national titles. Coaches that no one else is hiring now.

He won a bunch at Alabama. Let’s see how they do now without him.

I love the fact a Bama-paid public figure is praising LSU and CLK

I'm sure everybody already do that. Unless you include the Oakland raiders

Saban is still feeling awkward over the fact that Kiffen told us that Saban told him LSU was the best job in the country. No exceptions.

What has Lane ever won as a HC?

What had Saban won, before he did? What had Meyer won, before he did? What had Dabo won, before he did? See how dumb the “what has ___ won” argument is?

I'd give you high odds, when considering how close the game was without Lane, that had he been coaching in the semi final Ole Miss would have been playing in the title game.

And even if they didn't go on to win the title game that's close enough for me to be comfortable with him leading things at LSU.

The point of all this, BabyTac, is that you are a dumbass.
