During SEC Media Days on Thursday, Lane Kiffin was asked about his controversial comments in the Vanity Fair article back in May. This was his response:
quote:

"I can’t be so concerned about little things and what people say. You have to make decisions, and you have to go with them," Kiffin explained.

"You do things and make really good decisions, and sometimes you make poor decisions."

"That was a poor usage of a term that I believe, just like many coaches that have been there before, was factual. But over the course of a long interview, it was bad timing and bad usage of the word."

"It is what it is. I apologize when I said it and moving on."

Ridiculous question by a reporter to bring this subject up again. Coach K handled it like a pro.
Love the fact he gave up his phone and he is completely locked in !
