Some redneck in Alabama just had his day ruined reading his team isn't #1 on everyone's opinion.

At least this is a top 10 based off more factors than name recognition. LSU deserves #1 slot from beating two top 10 teams and their offense playing as well as anyone in the land. Defense getting healthy for the stretch run. Ohio St deserves it because they are just a better team than Bama. Bama would get destroyed by Ohio St on a neutral field. And LSU is going to light their arse up like a Christmas tree in a few weeks. With Marshall back it will be nasty.

Don’t really know this guy but he at least seems to have some fluidity to his rankings based on how teams have performed THIS year.

UGA at 9 ... no ... not the way they are playing right now.

Literally what is the fascination with Ohio at anything higher than three By all the pundits? Their SOS is basically the same as bama. If you have LSU second behind them b/c of LSU’s SOS, then there’s actually no reason not to rank them first.

Of course, Ohio State's best win is against Cincinnati and LSU has wins over two top-10 teams. He's an idiot.

Exactly ONE team has beaten any other one team in that Top 10. And THAT team should clearly be #1.

Two teams. Georgia at #9 has also defeated Notre Dame at #10.

@SeanLSU- he might’ve meant undefeated Top 10 team that has a win over another Top 10 team

none of this matters. It's like deciding who's going to get the gold medal in the 100m sprint by seeing who's ahead at 50m. Wait til all the games are played, then we'll know.

Didn’t Joel Klatt put LSU on upset alert vs Utah State?

Klatt works for FOX, which carries the Big Ten. That’s why he has Ohio State No. 1 and why he has Penn State that high.

I don't think it's a bad top 4. Order may /may not be correct but at this point one could argue those 4 ....this has nothing to do with playoff spots. Clemson and OK are just playing out their mandatory games before the playoffs. Leaving Big10 and Sec champs to fill out the roster
