Talented four-star prospect Chasen Hines will be moving from defense, back to offense according to multiple reports.

Hines, a talented 6-3, 340-pound prospect from Marshall, TX signed with LSU to play defensive line but will move back to the offensive line where he could see the field sooner. Per SECCountry.com:

Conversely, Hines saw a deep group of defensive linemen competing against a thin group on the offensive side of the ball. With that in mind, the Texas native made the decision to change his position, again, and work as an interior lineman under first-year offensive line coach James Cregg beginning this summer.

“After watching practice, I realized I had to do what was best for the team,” Hines told SEC Country. “I’m going to be playing center and guard.”

Hmmm. In recent memory, an offensive player moved to defense (Devin White) and lit it the heck up. IN.
