LSU (8-0, 4-0 SEC) is currently No. 1 in the AP Top 25, No. 2 in the Coaches Poll and firmly in the hunt for a spot in the College Football Playoff.

The first playoff rankings will come out next week on Tuesday, Nov. 5 but if we were still using the old BCS Rankings, the Tigers would be No. 2 just behind Ohio State and ahead of Alabama and Clemson.

The BCS Rankings last week had LSU No. 1.

The BCS, created by Kirk Herbstreit himself.

LSU was the only 2003 national champion. Usc did not earn a spot in the 03 championship game for two reasons: a loss to an unranked, 6 loss team and a schedule that included only one ranked team all season! The BCS got 2003 correct.

Smh Ohio State beat a over ranked Wisconsin team. They’ve played no one. BCS is wrong again lol

Sort of agree with 1 and 2, regardless, LSU is the #1 team in country right now

Swap #1 and #2. According to the own rankings, LSU has beaten #6 and #11 on that list. Ohio St cannot say the same
