UPDATE: Richard Anderson signed with LSU.

The big news of the week has been LSU's five-star commits, Lamar Brown and Richard Anderson, reportedly delaying their signings.

Anderson, the top defensive lineman in the country for the class of 2026, is currently at his Edna Karr High School and is dressed up for the signing ceremony with a spot at the table with some of his teammates.

When asked by reporter Garland Gillen if he would be signing, Anderson responded with: “We’ll see, just wait.”

It isn't about NIL or anything like that. These are defensive guys and they wanna make sure they're playing for the coordinator that they want to play for. Once Blake Baker is confirmed to be LSU's DC, they'll sign.

Revenue sharing kicks in this year, the nil deals won't be the same anymore. If LSU has a budget of 40 mil, that's for all sports programs, not just footbal
