LSU freshman linebacker Harold Perkins was named SEC Defensive Player of the Week on Monday for a second straight week. Per SEC Sports:

DEFENSIVE
Harold Perkins, LB, LSU

-The true freshman tied LSU record with 4 sacks in what was one of the best all-around games for a Tiger defender in school history.

-Finished game with 8 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, a pass breakup and a QB hurry ... Joined a list of only 4 players in last 15 years of FBS football with 4 sacks and 2 forced fumbles in a game.

-His 4 sacks accounted for 33 yards in losses .... Both forced fumbles came by strip-sacks.
First forced fumble led to a LSU field goal and his second came with just over a minute left in the game basically ended the contest as the Tigers were able to run out the clock on offense.

-As a unit, LSU held Arkansas to season lows for points (10), rushing yards (121) and total yards (237).
