Former LSU WR Jarvis Landry Under Investigation For Battery

Former LSU and current Miami Dopwide receiver is reportedly under investigation for possible battery from an incident involving his girlfriend earlier this year in Fort Lauderdale. Per NBC Sports:

Andy Slater of WINZ reports that receiver Jarvis Landry is under investigation for battery. Citing multiple unnamed sources, Slater reports that the incident occurred earlier this year at Landry’s apartment in Ft. Lauderdale, and that it involves his girlfriend.

The Broward County State Attorney’s Office is expected to eventually make a decision on possible charges. Per Slater, Landry’s girlfriend is not cooperating.

So they came and looked and it wasn't enough. Baby mama doesn't press charges. But now they decide they want to open it up right at contract time? I can't remember if Juice got his 2nd contract yet or not. But still. I'm not saying you should wail on your woman, but the time for arresting and such was at the time of the incident.

The woman posted long statement explaining. Defended Jarvis. Police found no evidence of violence. Why jarvis is being hit with a label that will be hard to shake. Media....why let facts get in the way of a good headline. Sad.
