Former LSU running back was one of eight players to sign a reserve/future contract with the Houston Texans, according to the Houston Chronicle.
quote:Hilliard was selected by the Texas with the 235th pick in the 7th round of the 2015 NFL Draft but has not played yet.
The Texans have signed eight players to reserve/future contracts. All closed regular season on the 10-player practice squad.
Signed were defensive end Brandon Dunn, tight end RaShaun Allen, offensive tackle Laurence Gibson, running back Kenny Hilliard, receiver Tevin Jones, outside linebacker Eric Lee, inside linebacker Shakeel Rashad and guard Chad Slade.
